Here is the recipe for bread I bread ... What can I say about Jack Astor Pan Pan, which looks similar, but use more spices ... You can omit the spices and oil and replace it with melted butter and garlic, and I would ... Good luck and have fun!

2 C hot water
Dry yeast 1 TB
3 TB sugar
6 C-7 c flour
1 TB salt
1 / olive oil 2 c
1 TB dried Italian seasoning
2 TB minced fresh garlic
1 / 4 C fresh basil leaves chopped
2 TB fresh oregano, chopped

Combine water, yeast, sugar and about 2 cups
Flour to a thick paste. Mix well and let stand a few
Minutes, until the bubbles float to the surface.

Mix the salt with the remaining flour, yeast, gradually
stir until flour absorbs more. Knead dough until
the texture is soft and not sticky to the touch, about 5 to 10
Minutes. Place dough in a greased bowland leave in a warm place
Until doubled in volume. Punch down the dough, in a
lightly floured surface and knead for a minute. Leave the patch
5 to 10 minutes.

Apply a piece of 9 x 13 inches with 1 / 3 olive oil. Sprinkle
Pan with 1 / 2 teaspoon dried spices, tea and Italian 1
EL garlic. Roll out the pastry to line the mold.

Place dough in the pan, brush with remaining olive oil,
Then sprinkle with the remaining ingredients, garlic and Italian,
fresh herbs. (At this point can be made the bread the day before
and stored in the fridge to fill up in prepared pan.)

Let rise for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Bake in a
preheated to 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown
brown.

For 8 to 12 years.
